After eight years working in theatre, a relocation to the UK in 2018 inspired a move to the film industry. After exploring various Art Department roles, I discovered that my skills and interests are best aligned within the Set Decoration department.
Recent work includes Set Dec Buyer on Slow Horses S3 (AppleTV), Assistant Production Buyer on Great Expectations (FX), Petty Cash Buyer on The Power (Amazon Prime Video), Set Dec Draughtsperson on Suspicion (AppleTV) and Art Department Assistant on The Last Letter From Your Lover (Studio Canal).
Graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) with a Bachelor of Dramatic Art (Design), I spent 8 years working in theatre, building a career as a set and costume designer, working for many of Australia’s leading companies. I believe that my experience in theatre gives me a unique perspective to bring to the film industry.
Theatre Credits include set and/or costume design for Wild, Vivid White and I'll Eat You Last (Melbourne Theatre Company) and Egg (MTC/Terrapin Puppet Theatre); Sweet Charity for Hayes Theatre Company; Little Shop of Horrors (Tinderbox Productions/Luckiest Productions); Two Weddings, One Bride (Opera Australia) and Niche (Elbow Room).
In 2017 I received a Sydney Theatre Award for Little Shop of Horrors, and have been nominated for four Green Room Awards, two Australian Production Design Guild Awards, and an additional Sydney Theatre Award.
